We created this class with the beginner in mind. Focused on mastering the basics of functional fitness and developing your cardiovascular strength, Volta Sweat is a 45-60 minute class with similar structure to our Volta Fit program. Designed as another mainstay option to give you a killer cardio workout that changes every day to keep things fun and fresh. This is an excellent place to start. All ages and ability levels welcome!

I'VE NEVER WORKED OUT BEFORE, DO I NEED TO GET IN SHAPE BEFORE STARTING AT VOLTA SWEAT?
Not at all! We specifically designed Volta Sweat for beginners. Though this mirrors our Volta Fit program, we focus on teaching and mastering the basics of functional fitness. No prior workout experience necessary. The beauty of our Volta Sweat program is we can scale/modify any workout to meet you where you're at. This includes adaptive athletes, folks with injuries, and ages 9 to 99! But don't be fooled, even our most advance athletes can "scale up" to ensure everyone gets a great workout!
PROGRAM STRUCTURE/STYLE OF WORKOUTS
Functional fitness is the name of the game. Our daily total body workouts are varied but not random. Each day there will be an intended stimulus/goal to ensure you get the most out of each workout. We use 8-10 week strength progressions utilizing percentages off of your own individual personal records. We use benchmark (mainstay) workouts to measure progress and show you how far you've come.
REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN VOLTA SWEAT
Every new member at Volta Athletics is required to do a 1-on-1 assessment with a coach that tests strength, mobility, and stamina followed by a short benchmark workout that giving us a good idea of where you’re starting. We will also help you set some goals! Introductory assessments costs $185 and this includes 30 days at Volta Athletics. Your first day is your assessment and you have 29 days following that to take unlimited classes. After your first 30 days, we will get you signed up for the membership that’s right for you.
