FAQs
DO I NEED TO BE AN "OUT OF SEASON" ATHLETE?
Athletes can benefit from our program at any point in the year. If in season, we can modify the session so that there's nothing hindering athletes from being able to perform at the best of their ability during competition. We have the knowledge to ensure that athletes are peaking in their training cycles during their most important phases. We want everyone around the state to ask what they're putting in the water over in Great Falls!
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM STRUCTURE?
Programming will be based on the athletes enrolled and their specific sport but the general session will have one or two strength movements each day, explosive movements based around the strength movement, and then acceleration training as well as a lateral movement component. A warm up and cool down will include flexibility and low level strength at the beginning and end of each training session. The coach will also communicate with athletes about their specific sports in order to ensure that their primary movements are being covered.
ARE THERE ANY REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN VOLTA SPORT?
There are a few things that will help an athlete ensure success in our program. A positive attitude and coachability are paramount in not just our gym, but athletic competition as well. Prepare for your initial session by gathering your recent medical history and details of past injuries to reduce the likelihood of aggravating them again. We welcome you to grab your teammates or siblings to join you for friendly competition along the way.
