Volta Fit classes are packed with 60 minutes of fun from start to finish giving you the perfect blend of strength, skill, flexibility and cardio. The workouts change daily to avoid plateaus, and prepare you for any and all real life scenarios that might be thrown your way. Head coach Brooks Lindquist has over 12 years of experience programming for teams and group fitness alike. The daily workouts are thoughtfully designed in a way that will build you up, instead of break you down. Volta Fit is our mainstay program and is open to members of all ages and ability levels. You do not need to “get in shape” before starting this program. Let us take the guess work out of your training. Show up, work hard and let us do the rest!

DO I NEED TO GET IN SHAPE BEFORE STARTING VOLTA FIT?
Not at all! Each class offers 1-on-1 coaching in a group setting to ensure proper modifications/weights for your fitness level. The beauty of our Volta Fit program is that all workouts are scalable/modifiable to meet you where you're at, including adaptive athletes, folks rehabbing from injury, etc.
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE VOLTA FIT OVER OTHER PROGRAMS OUT THERE?
It boils down to experience, education and a beautifully designed program that is based on extensive experience. The data/results we have collected over the last 10+ years speaks volumes about the efficacy of our program. Our coaching staff has a variety of different backgrounds, such as a nationally-qualified Olympic weightlifter, coaching at the USAW nationals and youth nationals level, competitive CrossFit athletes, collegiate track athletes, clinical exercise physiologists, yoga instructors, and nutrition coaches. Regardless of your goals, we have something for everyone, and a coach that can help you get the results you've been looking for.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE/STYLE OF WORKOUTS
Functional fitness is the name of the game. Our workouts are varied but not random. We tackle whatever we can get our hands on. Barbells, dumbbells. kettlebells, sandbags, pull-up bars, gymnastics rings, jump ropes, plyoboxes, body weight movements and more. Each day there will be an intended stimulus/goal to ensure you get the most out of each workout. We use 8-10 week strength progressions utilizing percentages off of your own individual personal records. We use benchmark (mainstay) workouts to measure progress and show you how far you've come.
REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN VOLTA FIT
Schedule your trial period and consultation with owner and head coach, Brooks Lindquist. During this session you’ll have the chance to tour the facility, discuss your goals and ask any questions you may have. This typically takes around 20 minutes. Immediately following your consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to jump in a group class, and after that you’ll have seven days to participate in as many classes as you’d like. This flexibility allows you to try different class times and get a feel for our atmosphere, community and ultimately decide if Volta Athletics aligns with your goals. Click here to get started!
