Volta Remote is our online training program that you can access through the SugarWOD app. Each day you will receive a 60 minute training plan that includes - warmup/breath work, mobility, strength/accessory, conditioning, core and recovery. The training plan changes daily to avoid plateaus and prepares you for any and all real life scenarios that might be thrown your way. The workouts are thoughtfully designed with intention in a way that will build you up, instead of break you down. Volta Remote has a movement vault of over 200+ instructional videos so that you can follow along no matter where life takes you. Let us take the guess work out of it, it's time to #trainforlife

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR?
This program is designed for those looking to get in the best shape up their life and conquer anything and everything that is thrown their way. If you have access to train at home or a traditional gym but have no idea to do for a workout, let us take the guess work out of your training. All ages and ability levels welcome as each workout will have modifications, as well as limited equipment options.
I WANT TO UTILIZE THE DAILY PROGRAMMING, BUT DON'T WANT TO SUBMIT MY SCORES.
You are not required to submit your daily scores. However, in order to push yourself and get the most of your training, we encourage each and everyone to post scores. This holds you accountable and pushes other athletes in our community. "Fist bumps" and commenting on others workouts is a great way to connect with our community. Still not convinced? Don't worry. You can always change your privacy settings within the app so only you can view your scores!
PROGRAM STRUCTURE/STYLE OF WORKOUTS
Functional fitness is the name of the game. Our daily total body workouts are varied but not random. Each day there will be an intended stimulus/goal to ensure you get the most out of each workout. We use 8-10 week strength progressions utilizing percentages off of your own individual personal records. We use benchmark (mainstay) workouts to measure progress and show you how far you've come.
This following equipment is recommended in order to get the most out of your training:
Medium to heavy set of dumbbells/kettlebells, medicine ball (or sand bag), jump rope, box or object to step/jump on, pull-up bar and one of the following - Running route, Rower, bike (fan or stationary), ski erg, or treadmill.
