Your Step-by-Step Guide to Transitioning from SugarWOD to Volta


We’re beyond excited to announce that we’re transitioning from SugarWOD to our very own Volta Athletics app! This change brings everything into one place—making it easier to connect with you while offering new features and a smoother experience. We can’t wait for you to dive in!


Step 1: How to Sign Up and Download the Volta Athletics App

  1. Sign up: Visit HERE to create your free account.

  2. Download the app: Tap the Apple or Google Play icon to download the app. Sign in using the credentials you just created.

  3. Check your inbox: Look out for a welcome message with more details!

  4. Explore the app: Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the layout. Add a profile picture or any details you'd like to share.


Programming begins Monday, June 2nd!


Step 2: How to Export Your SugarWOD Workout Log

If you’ve been tracking your workouts in SugarWOD, here’s how to export your data:

  1. Open the SugarWOD app.

  2. Tap the Menu (top-left corner).

  3. Select Tools & More.

  4. Scroll down and choose Export Workouts.

  5. You’ll receive an email with a link to download your workout log as a CSV file.

💡 Pro tip: Save this file somewhere safe for easy reference in the future!



Step 3: How to Input Your Benchmark Lifts into FITR

Your hard-earned PRs deserve to carry over to the new app! Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the Volta Athletics app.

  2. Tap your profile icon (bottom-right corner).

  3. Select Tracking, then tap the + icon in the top-right corner and search for lift and correct rep max.

  4. Enter your latest PR lifts from SugarWOD. Save your entries—and you’re all set!
