Early Birds vs. Night Owls Showdown

Tomorrow marks the beginning of our much-awaited annual Early Birds versus Night Owls in-house competition, and we're here to fill you in on all the exciting details!

Overview

In the run-up to our anniversary party, which is just two weeks away, we're inviting all our members to participate in this thrilling competition. The best part? It's as easy as participating in your regular class times and keeping track of your scores! Are you an early riser, attending the 5 am, 6 am, or 9 am classes? You're officially an Early Bird! If you prefer working out in the afternoon or evening, joining the 12 pm, 4:30 pm, or 6 pm classes, you're proudly a Night Owl!

Schedule

We've got five workouts lined up, plus a few surprise tests – because we like to keep things interesting:

  • Monday, September 18th

  • Tuesday, September 19th

  • Wednesday, September 20th

  • Tuesday, September 26th

  • Wednesday, September 27th

Recording your Score

  • Complete the workout as written, whether prescribed (RX’d) or scaled

  • Record your score on SugarWOD before 8pm

  • Don't forget to include in your workout notes: are you an Early Bird or a Night Owl?

Scoring

Now, let's talk about the exciting part – scoring! This is a competition after all.

  • Points will be awarded to the top three RX'd men, RX'd women, scaled men, and scaled women.

  • Points are distributed as follows:

- 1st place - 3 points

- 2nd place - 2 points

- 3rd place - 1 point

Wrap Up

The winner of this battle will be announced and the coveted trophy will be presented at our upcoming anniversary party! But, let's not forget the most important aspect – this competition is all about having fun and fostering a sense of camaraderie. We encourage everyone to participate, as every point earned contributes to your team's success. And remember, no matter how you score, you're still a valuable member of your team and we are TRAINING FOR LIFE!

So, gear up and let's make this competition one for the books! We can't wait to see everyone's energy and enthusiasm over the next two weeks. May the best team win!
